Fare increase 1st April 2024

Dear Customer

Due to unforeseen issues with the Mount Batten Landing Stage
Pontoon, we have had to relocate the service to the Mount Batten
Centre’s Pontoon (MBC).

We have made adjustments to the service to accommodate the ferry
link from the MBC. We will be running a combination of the large
ferry and 2 x smaller ferries in tandem to cope with the peak
demands. Unfortunately, we don’t have a timeline from PCC with
regards works at the Mount Batten Pontoon but we believe this will
be ongoing for most of this season. Unfortunately, these issues have
caused immediate increased costs to running the service. With no
end in sight, we have had to look at the fare structure and make
increase in the following area and will be effective from 1st April.
Adult (single) £3.00
Concession (20) £44.00 – (average £2.20 per crossing)
Concession (40) £77.00 – (average £1.93 per crossing)
Child fares remain unaltered.
For our regular users the purchasing of the concession cards is the
most cost-effective option.
