Fares Increase 2021
Dear valued customer
We have had to re-evaluate our pricing structure for the 2021 season. Reasonable adjustments to the fares have been made and will be effective from 1st Jan 2021
2020 has been a very testing year for many businesses and unfortunately the Mount Batten Ferry hasn’t escaped the effects of the COVID pandemic. The ferry service has hopefully supported our valued customers by continuing to operate its water transport service during this period.
Additionally during this year we have invested in the exciting engine replacement program for the smaller ferry ‘Copper’. You will find the vessel back in service next year with a new electric drive propulsion system and solar charging capability. This is great for the Port of Plymouth and is the way forward in a Zero Emission water transport service.
We have also invested in a new diesel engine replacement for Copper’s sister ferry – Sulphur. We have replaced the older more powerful diesel engines and replaced them with efficient smaller Beta engine units.
Our company wishes to continue to offer our customers a frequent and reliable ferry service between the Barbican and Mount Batten
